The next is what P usually has done after visiting Nana - trekked to the top of Mount Maunganui. This obviously was on a day that was less than perfect!
The next one was taken last week when we went down to Ohope again with the caravan. The weather was great. Took out bikes and enjoyed getting out on them to ride to WestEnd. P says it was 18 km there and back so that was not bad for me!! No hills so there was not much challenge for him. Here we are with J and J, who also caravanned, as well as E and L who came down for the day. The camping ground was empty which made it great and we even had a swim or two! Lovely to catch up with 5 out of the 6 Eds!

The next one is a lovely memory of fish and chips on a magnificent late summer's evening at E and L's place in Pilot Bay, Mount Maunganui! Where would you find a better restaurant than this?
I have also been practising making Varsha's recipes for real Indian chicken curry and roti. Here is a photo of my first attempt. My roti are getting better and quicker now but I still make such a mess!!And that is about it. P is now on holiday for 20 days and I am back to work after 2 weeks holiday. This week I have been sitting at my table marking almost all week. I have had such a lot but it is now done and I have some planning to do now. It has been a long summer but we are now into Autumn and the sewing machine has to come out to do some more sewing.
