The Gardener's Dream

The garden had stayed the same too long! P was restless - trees needed to be cut out and new ones planted.
To avoid the travel sickness that besets trees on our properties, according to J ( who sympathises with any tree on our property), P felt the need to actually just get rid of them and start again. E's favourite fruit trees - her beloved feijoas and plum ( only two years old!!!) succumbed to the chain saw- they were ruthlessly attacked in one fell swoop.
A mandarin, an orange and a new feijoa were bought and planted.
A fence had been in his mind for more than a week and needed be built. Not next year, nor next month, but right now. So, the holes were dug in a day or two; the posts were concreted in on the next; the fence is on its way. The vegetable garden will be extended and covered with something so veges can grow over the winter period.

P is happy - another project is underway!!
The picture is taken from the neighbouring property.
