Travel Log One: The Malyasia Stopover
The 10 hour flight felt very very long but within 45 minutes of arrival we had forgotten the length and the heaviness of head when we swept into the fabulous entrance way of the Palace Spa Hotel. Very large - all Indonesian style wood furniture - open balconies looking over a man-made lake. All lovely. Had a nice room in a separate chalet and enjoyed the evening. Next day we simply went around the accompanying shopping mall and wandered the gardens in what was extreme humidity and heat. Phew!
On the way to the airport at night we were accompanied by a lovely young Indian couple and their children who are living presently in Perth. They advised us to go up to Chandigarh - away from Delhi for a few days. Think we might. Good flight to Delhi.
