This is the one picture which haunts me.

This man was at a border we passed on our way "Up The Punjab"(!!) and even our driver, who would not give money to any beggar, but would open his door and chase them off, opened his window and gave to this man. He was walking amongst the cars. His eyes haunt me. I am not sure what the Hindu words say but his face says it all I think.
What agonies must go on in someone's life for them to end up here? How many lie at home needing care?
